Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Her mother is English, the other half Spanish. Parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is an Argentine with Scottish and English descent. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy has four brothers and sisters, with one coming in each parent's prior marriages. The family lived in Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria area in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatic and that she didn't study English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to following her departure from Northlands. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. At the age of 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an acting star began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model to hire her as an experienced model.
