Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez has worked as an Cuban and American television arbitrator since Caso Cerrado. Born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami when she was just 2 years old and was accompanied with her parents. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of renowned Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado" which is the first Spanish programming to be nominated for a Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award. The show in 2015 ranked as the top Spanish-language show in the 4pm hour across all the key demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. After graduating at Florida International University's political science program, she relocated to Havana where she stayed for the next 20 years. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for nearly 20 years. After that, she received her PhD in law at University of Miami. University of Miami and practiced law for more than 20 years in the city of Miami. The legal expertise of Polo was utilized in court shows as well as Telemundo Sala de Parejas 2001 in addition to the program Sala de Parejas. Literature Works and Accolades Her 1958 novel Los Hijos Muertos won her both the Critic Prize as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in the year 1960.
