Kari Samantha (born April 28th on 1967) Wuhrer is an American actor and singer. The career of Wuhrer began when she was a teenager. Her most notable roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in Sliders as well as her character Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter of Karin Noble (nee Noble) and is Payroll accountant as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). The youngest of her three siblings. When she was a teenager She performed in nightclubs, sneaking out of the house to sing. After studying acting at the Wooster School from 13 years old she was a drama student at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. She also studied in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the famed Uta Hagen. Her birthplace was in Brookfield Connecticut on 28 April She was raised in the town. She was born in the town of Brookfield, Connecticut on April 28, 1967. Kari has 3 siblings. As a teenager was a nightclub singer, she would sing as she slipped out for performances. Kari was studying acting by the time she was just 13 years old. She then studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in collaboration along with Uta Hagen, who is a well-known teacher. Kari began her journey into acting at the age of 13, and she got her first big break in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
